How do I add a media source?
Open Sources and choose how you want to connect: sign in to an Xtream-compatible service, import an M3U or M3U8 playlist, or paste a direct stream URL. The source appears in your library immediately after it loads.
Does the app include any channels or content?
No. HKM Player ships empty. It is a player only — it does not provide, host, or distribute channels, movies, or TV shows. You are responsible for adding content you are authorized to access.
How does iCloud sync work?
With iCloud enabled, your source configurations sync privately through Apple CloudKit in your own account, so iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV stay aligned. Credentials are kept in the Keychain. On Apple TV you can also choose Continue without iCloud to keep that device local.
How do I restore HKM Player Pro?
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchase while signed in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. Pro is bought on iPhone or iPad; Apple TV supports restore only.
How do I import local videos and MKV files?
Use folder import from Files or iCloud Drive to bring videos into My Media, or build a Custom Series and let the app detect S01E01-style filenames to sort episodes by season. MKV and other advanced formats play through the built-in compatibility player.
